A useful proposal should help you understand what will be built, what is included and how the work will be organised. Start there when comparing landscape contractors.
Bring the same brief to each conversation
Before asking for quotes, write down what you want the garden to do. You might need more shade, a pool, space for dinner outside or a simpler planting scheme. Share any plans, photographs and features you want to keep. A clear brief makes the proposals easier to compare.
Look beyond the headline price
Check the scope behind each estimate. Are the proposed surfaces, planting, irrigation, lighting and preparation work described? If two prices are very different, the included work may be different too. Ask for unclear items to be explained before choosing.
Ask how the site will be managed
Discuss access, the sequence of work and who will be your point of contact. If you will be living in the property during construction, explain which routes and areas need to remain usable. It is easier to plan around these needs at the beginning.
Review relevant work
Look at projects that help you understand the kind of work being proposed. A photograph can show a finish or layout, but it cannot tell you everything about the scope. Ask which parts of a project the contractor carried out and how those details relate to your own garden.
Agree the details before starting
Review the design, materials, estimate and expected sequence together. Ask how later changes will be recorded and priced. At Four Season Pool Dubai, the first conversation and site visit help us turn your ideas into a scope you can discuss and agree.
